Vacancy: Enable Executive Director and Spoke Development Manager

Enable has a vacancy for Executive Director and Spoke Development Manager.

The post of Executive Director of Enable is a crucial post. Reporting directly to the Enable Director and the Enable steering committee, the Executive Director has all operational responsibilities including personnel, financial management, operations, intellectual property, managing relationships with funding agencies, industrial partners and internally within the University.

The Executive Director is also heavily involved in long-term strategic planning of Enable, as well as having responsibility for Business Development. They will lead the Enable operations team, liaise with the CONNECT operations team, and sit on the Enable Steering Committee. The Executive Director must provide leadership to the Enable team of up to 80 people across all 7 institutions involved in Enable and must garner the respect of the PIs, funded Investigators and researchers as well as the Industry Partners involved.

The level of leadership required, the ability to think strategically, the communication skills needed, the breadth of expertise and the sheer volume of the workload require a highly experienced, organised and motivated person.
