Amr Elrasad is a Research Fellow at CONNECT in Trinity College Dublin.
He received his BSc in electrical engineering and MSc in engineering mathematics from Alexandria University, Egypt, in 2004 and 2010, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in computer science from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia in 2016. Prior to KAUST, he was also assistant lecturer for the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, Egypt.
Dr. Elrasad research interests include optical networks, broadband access, wireless sensor networks, software defined networks, and queuing systems.
