Apostolos Galanopoulos is a PhD researcher at CONNECT in Trinity College Dublin.
He received the BSc degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Thessaly, and the MSc degree in Science and Technology of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution in 2014 and 2016, respectively.
He has been a researcher with the Industrial Systems Institute, Athena Research and Innovation Center from 2014 to 2016 studying carrier aggregation for 5G networks. In 2017 he joined Trinity College Dublin as a PhD researcher to study edge computing systems for future wireless networks.
His research topics of interest are wireless communications, multimedia networks, edge computing, and optimization theory application in communication networks.
