Conor is the Programme Manager for Dublin’s Smart Sandyford.
This urban district acts as a smart city testbed, where industry partners, government and academics, work together to research, develop and deploy disruptive technology solutions. Conor works with stakeholders including MNCs, SMEs, and local community groups to develop and deploy large scale smart solutions. Smart Sandyford is an initiative of Smart Dublin, Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council, Sandyford Business District, and the Enable research programme, Trinity College Dublin.
Conor received his BComm and MSc in Supply Chain Management from UCD and successfully passed his PhD Viva in TCD. His research focused on developing a Resilience Management Framework and deploying an LPWAN IoT sensor network to manage flooding within Dublin.
