Conor Sexton is pursuing a PhD at CONNECT, the Science Foundation Ireland research centre for Future Networks and Communications, at Trinity College Dublin under the supervision of Professor Luiz DaSilva and Dr Nicola Marchetti. He received his B.A.I. degree in Computer and Electronic Engineering from Trinity College Dublin in 2015.
His research focuses on the system level implications of new PHY technologies. In particular, his work examines the benefits offered by emerging technologies such as new waveforms or in-band full-duplex in the context of device-to-device communication.
