Declan O’Donoghue is currently a PhD researcher in Mechanical Engineering at Stokes Laboratories, University of Limerick. Declan graduated with a BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Limerick in 2013.
Declan’s research area is vibrational energy harvesting. He is currently working on novel vibration energy harvesting generators for wireless sensor networks in collaboration with Bell Labs Ireland. His interests include energy harvesting, vibrational analysis, electromagnetic generators, and discontinuous and non-linear dynamical systems. He has published multiple journal papers and participated at international conferences.
