Hamid Saeedi is a Research Fellow at CONNECT in Trinity College Dublin.
He received his BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees from the Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), Iran, in 2001, 2003, and 2011 respectively, all in electrical engineering. During his PhD, he visited Technique University of Eindhoven (TU/e) from January 2009 to January 2010 on sabbatical. From 2003 to 2007, he worked as a senior researcher at the Information and Communication Technology Institute (ICTI) at IUT. After his PhD he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Yazd University, Iran.
His research interests include signal processing for wireless communications, multicarrier modulation, software and cognitive radios, and wavelet transform. He has several publications in all these areas of his research interest.
