Dr James Little is a Research Fellow at CONNECT in Trinity College Dublin.
He works on applying machine learning to WiFi location data to determine patterns of behavior in crowds. His current research is about supplementing and integrating real-time image data of crowds in order to improve the accuracy of the WiFi estimation of numbers of people across a wide area.
His general areas of interest are the application of IoT and AI to better urban planning for various social groups and the integration of different city data streams into a better model of the city.
