Jeongho Kwak is a Research Fellow at CONNECT in Trinity College Dublin.
He received the Bachelor degree (Summa cum laude) in electrical engineering from Ajou University, Korea in 2008. He received the Master’s degree and PhD degree in electrical engineering from KAIST, Korea, in 2011 and 2015, respectively under the supervision of Prof. Song Chong. He has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at INRS and Western University in Canada.
His current research interests lie on storage/computing/networking resource orchestration in hybrid edge network architecture. He is a recipient of 13 research awards from academia and industry communities including two Gold Prizes, given to the best paper in communications and networks area of 21st/23rd Samsung HumanTech Paper Award, and Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research Fellowship in 2017.
He has published nine peer-reviewed journal papers including IEEE/ACM ToN and IEEE JSAC, and 12 peer-reviewed conference papers including IEEE Infocom. He has registered 12 patents in the US and Korea.
