John Polansky

Research Fellow

John is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Limerick in partnership with Nokia Bell Labs.

He holds a PhD in aerospace engineering from Carleton University and specialises in phase change heat transfer, interfacial fluid dynamics and instability. He has completed two postdoctoral positions, the first at Carleton University studying evaporating meniscus stability and the second at Iowa State University investigating bloodstain pattern analysis as part of CSAFE. Currently, his research is focused on the development of thermal management solutions using additive manufacturing and two-phase devices.

His research interests include analytical and experimental approaches to interfacial fluid mechanics, two-phase heat transfer, fluid mechanics and additive manufacturing.
