Justin Tallon is a Research Fellow at CONNECT in Trinity College Dublin. He received his PhD in 2014 (Trinity College Dublin) in the area of reconfigurable wireless networks.
His research interests are in the area of software defined radio (SDR) and in the development of baseband radio functionality in software. Since completing his PhD he has been the project lead in a collaboration with UTRC and has worked part-time in R&D at Xilinx.
He is currently working as the SDR lead on Pervasive Nation, Ireland’s Internet of Things Testbed, which is operated by CONNECT at Trinity College Dublin, and is also a Software Engineer at Software Radio Systems, a CONNECT spin-out company.
