Kankana Paul is a CONNECT PhD researcher at Tyndall National Institute in Cork.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics (Hons.) in 2012 and received a Bachelor of Technology (2015) and Master’s of Technology (2017) degree with specialization in nano-electronics and photonics from the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta, India.
She is pursuing her PhD in Tyndall National Institute under the supervision of Prof. Saibal Roy. Her work is focused on the development of high efficiency, wideband electromagnetic vibration energy harvestering which will solve Internet of Things power issues.
