Mike Donohoe is a CONNECT researcher at TSSG in Waterford Institute of Technology.
Mike has twenty years experience working in the telecommunications industry and has developed strong links with industry such as Ericsson and Alcatel-Lucent as well as academic institutes such as Waterford Institute of Technology, Trinity College Dublin and Dublin City University.
His research interests and areas of responsibility are network planning, telecoms R&D and product management.
His research focuses on sensor networks and nanotechnology in smart spaces, especially embedded body networks. A particular focus of his work is the powering of embedded nansensor networks using energy harvesting from ultrasound.
