Mohit Taneja

PhD Researcher

Mohit Taneja is PhD researcher at CONNECT in TSSG at Waterford Institute of Technology.

He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from The LNM Institute of Information Technology at Jaipur in India in 2015. His Bachelor’s thesis was on “DARAC: DDoS mitigation using DDoS aware resource allocation in Cloud”.

He joined TSSG in 2015 to commence his Master’s studies in 2015 and will transfer to a PhD research programme in September 2017.

His research focuses on resource and service management in Fog-Cloud infrastructure to support and meet the needs for IoT environments. It involves the study of Fog/Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT) and Software Defined Networking (SDN). The aim is to provide a pervasive infrastructure and scalable network management for IoT environments.
