Nikita Jalodia

PhD Researcher

Nikita Jalodia is a PhD Researcher at CONNECT in the Telecommunications Software and Systems Group (TSSG), Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT), Ireland.

She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The LNM Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur, India in 2017, with a specialization in Big Data and Analytics with IBM. She has also previously worked as a developer at Sapient Global Markets, India.

Nikita is currently working as a part of the Science Foundation Ireland funded research project with CONNECT. Pursuing her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Alan Davy, she is based in the Emerging Networks Lab Research Unit in TSSG, WIT. Her research focuses on the applications of machine learning towards lifecycle management of virtualised services in next generation networks.

Her research interests include machine learning, virtualised telecom networks, Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Internet of Things (IoT), and fog / cloud computing.
