Pavlos Basaras is a Postdoctoral researcher at CONNECT in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin and Nokia Bell Labs.
He received his BSc degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Thessaly, and the MSc degree in Science and Technology of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution in 2011 and 2013, respectively. He then pursued and received his PhD under the supervision of Dimitrios Katsaros with title “Spreading Dynamics in Complex Networks, with Applications in Vehicular Networks”, in 2017 from the same department.
From 2013-2017, he also worked as a researcher at CERTH, Greece, in a wireless testbed facility (NITLAB) with a primary focus on the LTE network.
His research interests focus on wireless networks, mobile video delivery and multicast communications, vehicular networks and graph theory.
