Ramona Marfievici

Research Fellow


Ramona Marfievici is a Senior Research Scientist at the Nimbus Research Centre at Cork Institute of Technology.

She received her PhD in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Trento, Italy in 2015. Previously, she was a researcher at Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania from 2002 to 2010.

Her current research interests are broadly in the areas of wireless networks and cyber physical systems. Within these areas, she is particularly interested in the design of dependable wireless systems with an emphasis on energy-efficiency and reliability of low-power wireless communication, as well as the robustness of networking protocols against environmental influences.
