Dr Ransell D’Souza is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Tyndall National Institute (Materials Theory Group).
In 2013, he completed his Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Pune, Pune, India. He was the Second Rank Merit holder. In 2014, he started his PhD. coursework and research in S.N.Bose National Center for Basic Sciences, Kolkata, India as a Junior Research Fellow. From 2015 till the year he was awarded his PhD degree, 2019, he worked in S.N. Bose N.C.B.S. as a Senior Research Fellow funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST).
In 2019, he was awarded the EDGE Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship. His current research at the Tyndall National Institute focuses on using computational methods to enhance the performance of 3D and 2D thermoelectric materials for applications in the Internet of Things.
