Rosemary O’Keeffe is a Research Fellow at CONNECT in Tyndall National Institute.
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in UCC in 2008. She joined Tyndall National Institute in 2009 and was awarded a Master’s degree in 2010 from UCC. She completed her PhD at Tyndall in 2016 for her work on piezoelectric energy harvesting for biomedical devices.
She is currently a post-doctoral researcher working in the area of MEMS and circuit integration. She is particularly interested in integrated systems which combine device design, circuit design and material analysis to create a complete device. Previously she worked on the design of a micropump and is currently working on the INSPEX project.
