CONNECT Centre at FYUZ 2024 in Dublin

The CONNECT Centre is pleased to announce its participation in FYUZ 2024, a global telecommunications conference set to take place from 11th to 13th November in Dublin.

This year, the conference embraces the theme “Accelerate,” aligning with its mission to drive innovation and bring the latest technological advancements to the forefront of the telecom industry.

For the first time, FYUZ 2024 will be held in Dublin, a city known for its tech community and creative energy. The event promises to be a pivotal gathering for industry leaders, offering over 50 hours of insightful content from more than 250 speakers. Attendees will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of cutting-edge trends in open networks, AI, and chipsets, while networking with some of the leading minds in the industry.

CONNECT Centre’s Featured Panel Discussions

The CONNECT Centre is proud to host a series of panel discussions during the event, focusing on important topics in the telecom sector:

  • RAN Efficiency with CONNECT
    Monday, 11th November | 16:00 – 17:30
    This session will delve into the challenges and solutions surrounding energy efficiency in next-generation networks. With the rise of ultra-low latency and high data rate demands, experts will discuss how to optimise hardware, software, and cloud orchestration for better energy savings.
  • Are We Ready for the AI Tsunami?
    Tuesday, 12th November | 16:00 – 17:30
    As Generative AI applications surge, the need for networks with higher capacity and lower latency grows. This panel will explore how to build robust network tools to support these AI-driven changes, particularly in the context of 6G development.
  • Confluent Technologies for 6G Networks
    Wednesday, 13th November | 14:00 – 15:30
    This discussion will focus on the integration of radio, optical, and data systems for 6G networks. By combining advanced technologies like sub-terahertz, optical wireless, and open networks, the panel will explore how to achieve seamless, high-speed, and low-latency communications.
