CONNECT to host pan-European Quantum Internet Hackathon

Dublin will be one of six locations across Europe participating in a Quantum Internet Hackathon organised by the RIPE Network Coordination Centre on 5 and 6 November 2019. Teams in Delft, Geneva, Padua, Paris, and Sarajevo, will join participants in Dublin to solve a quantum computing challenge.

RIPE is an independent, not-for-profit membership organisation that supports the infrastructure of the Internet through technical coordination in its service region. Its most prominent activity is to act as the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) providing global Internet resources and related services (IPv4, IPv6 and AS Number resources) to members in its service region.

CONNECT is the world leading Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Future Networks and Communications. CONNECT is funded under the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centres Programme and is co-funded under the European Regional Development Fund.
