Dr Aleksandra Kaszubowska-Anandarajah, has been awarded the title of Senior Research Fellow by Trinity College Dublin.
Senior Research Fellows are experienced researchers in the university holding leadership roles in research groups, research centres, and research institutes.
Aleksandra is currently working on an SFI Industrial Fellowship, COMBINE, that aims to develop a photonic solutions for THz signal generation in collaboration with Pilot Photonic Ltd.
Dr Aleksandra Kaszubowska-Anandarajah was awarded funding in 2018 from the Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund (DTIF), run by the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation, as principal investigator in Trinity College Dublin for the €1.6m Irish Lasers for the Internet of the Future (iLife).
She also received a Technology Innovation Development Award (TIDA) from Science Foundation Ireland in 2017 for her REFLEXTION project (Real-time Flexible Transmitters for Optical Networks) which aimed to develop an optical transmitter capable of addressing the huge demands being placed on today’s communications infrastructures.
