The Cork heat of the Famelab competition took place on the 27 February 2019 where CONNECT researcher, Luiza Wasiewska, took first place.
The winners of the regional heats are invited to attend an all-expenses-paid Communication Masterclass in Dublin on 22-24 March 2019, this will help them develop invaluable STEM media and presentation skills.
The FameLab Ireland Final will be held at the Science Gallery, Dublin on Thursday 11 April 2019.
The winner of FameLab Ireland 2019 will then move on to take part in the FameLab International Finals, Cheltenham Science Festival, during the first 2 weeks in June (exact timing to be confirmed).
FameLab is a communications competition designed to engage and entertain by breaking down science, technology and engineering concepts into three-minute presentations.
