Marco Contributes to Major Ofcom Report

Prof. Marco Ruffini, CONNECT Principal Investigator at Trinity College Dublin, contributes to a major Office of Communications (Ofcom) report on the “Evolution of Fixed Access Networks”.

Ofcom, the UK’s communications regulator, commissioned the report with contributions from world leading experts to create a comprehensive analysis of cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of reliable broadband access and its impact on the UK’s digital landscape.

Marco has been granted both a Japanese and US Patent for his work on Open Radio Access Networks (OpenRAN) technology that acknowledges the unique work Marco has been doing in this area and with the new 6G ONE consortium.
