Prof. Marco Ruffini, CONNECT Principal Investigator at Trinity College Dublin , has been awarded a US Patent in Dynamic Bandwidth Assignment Virtualization in a Multi-Tenant Passive Optical Network.
The news follows the granting of a Japanese Patent for the same technology and acknowledges the unique work Marco has been doing in the area of Open Radio Access Networks (OpenRAN) and the new 6G ONE consortium.
