CONNECT researchers at Maynooth University just won Best Paper Award at the 17th New Circuits and Systems Conference (NEWCAS 2019). The Conference took place last week in Munich.

The team included Pavel Afanasyev, Prasidh Ramabadran, Ronan Farrell and John Dooley. Their paper entitled ‘Nonlinearity modeling of chireix outphasing power combiner under amplitude imbalance’ provides a theoretical underpinning for a new type of high-efficiency power amplifier for use in radios.
