Dr Anuj Agrawal is a CONNECT Research Fellow at Trinity College Dublin.
At CONNECT, he is working on the U.S.-Ireland collaborative research projects on Quantum Communications and Networking. Before joining Trinity College Dublin, he was an IITGN-Early Career Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Indore, India, in 2021. He was a visiting researcher at the 6G Flagship, Centre for Wireless Communications, University of Oulu, Finland, in 2019.
His research interests include classical and quantum optical networks, multicore fiber networks, quantum-classical co-existence, techno-economic analysis, and societal impacts of telecommunications and networking technologies. He received the best paper award (Ph.D. student forum) at IEEE ANTS 2018 for his research on multicore fiber networks. He is a member of IEEE, OPTICA (formerly OSA), IEEE Communications Society, IEEE Photonics Society, IEEE Future Networks, and IEEE Quantum. He serves as Guest Editor/Committee Member/Reviewer for reputed journals and conferences in the field of communications and networking.
