Arijeet Ganguli is a CONNECT PhD researcher at Trinity College Dublin under the supervision of Prof. Marco Ruffini.

Arijeet Ganguli received his BE degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India in 2019. From 2019 – 2021, he was working as a Web Development Engineer at Paytm, an Indian financial technology MNC, where he worked on building various web applications and features as well as micro-service architectures like kafka, storm, elasticsearch and various others.

He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. on the topic of “Upstream Scheduling in PONs” at CONNECT, with funding from IPIC. His research interests focus on designing optimisation algorithms for the upstream bandwidth allocation in PONs.
