Dr Bernd-Ludwig Wenning is a Research Fellow with a background in Communication Networks. His current research interests are in protocols, algorithms and QoS.
He received his Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from University of Bremen, Germany, in 2002 and 2009.
In 2012 he moved from Germany to Ireland to join the research team at the Nimbus Centre at Cork Institute of Technology (CIT).
Throughout his research career, he has acquired research experience in various national and EU funded projects in Germany and Ireland.
The latest of these is the recently acquired ECSEL-funded project SCOTT, in which he is CIT’s principal investigator.
