Boris Tomas is Programme Manager for Smart Dún Laoghaire, a Smart Dublin district collaboration between CONNECT and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.
Boris is an assistant professor and research fellow in the field of computer science, Internet of Things, and Smart Cities.
He completed his PhD, entitled ‘Medium access control protocol for visible light communication in vehicular communication networks’ at Faculty of Organization and Informatics at University of Zagreb.
For his academic and professional achievements, he received three Faculty Dean’s Awards, the Rotary Excellence Award, and the University of Zagreb Rector’s Award.
