Hitesh Tewari is a CONNECT Funded Investigator working on the ENABLE smart cities research programme in Trinity College Dublin.

He received his BA(Mod), MSc and PhD degrees from Trinity College Dublin and is a member of academic staff in the college. His primary research interests are in the areas of network security and applied cryptography. He leads a research group in the School of Computer Science and Statistics and in recent years has been active in the blockchain space.
