Kashif Ahmad is a CONNECT Associate Investigator at Munster Technological University.

Kashif received his BSc and MSc degrees in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan in 2010 and 2013, respectively, and his PhD from the University of Trento, Italy in 2017. He is currently working as an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, Munster Technological University, Cork, Ireland. He previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Doha, Qatar, and Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. His research interests include Social Network Analysis, Multimedia Analytics, and AI and NLP applications in smart cities.
