Liudmila Khokhlova is a CONNECT Research Fellow at Tyndall National Institute.
Liudmila Khokhlova received her B.Sc. degree (Hons.) and M.Sc. degree (Hons.) in Biomedical Engineering from Tomsk Polytechnic University in Tomsk, Russia. In 2023, she successfully completed her Ph.D. in Engineering Science at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics, Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork. Her doctoral research was dedicated to the application of acoustic emissions for assessing joint health. Prior to her doctoral studies, Liudmila served as an electronic engineer and contributed to the development of devices for CPR procedure and foetal monitoring.
Currently, Liudmila is a postdoctoral researcher at the Tyndall National Institute in Cork, Ireland. Her research interests include smart textiles and wearable devices for health and well-being, as well as biomedical data analysis and interpretation.
