Md Rasel is a CONENCT PhD Researcher at Tyndall National institute under the supervision of Dr Daniela Iacopino.

Md Rasel received his BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry from University of Barishal, Bangladesh in 2020, and his MSc in Chemistry from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Bangladesh in 2022. From 2021 – 2022, he worked as a research assistant at Department of Chemistry, KUET on development of electrochemical sensors and project on microplastics degradation funded by Ministry of Science & Technology, Bangladesh.

He is currently pursuing his PhD on the topic of “Direct laser Writing of Smart Sensors for Goods monitoring” at Tyndall National Institute. His research interests focus on electrochemical sensors, nanomaterials and nanoparticles synthesis and developing advanced energy storage materials.
