Mintesinot Tamiru is a CONNECT PhD Researcher at Tyndall National Institute under the supervision of Aidan Quinn. 

Mintesinot earned completed their BSc and MSc degrees with a thesis focused on photocatalysis. Their current research is centred around developing compostable sensors from natural materials to enable sustainable wireless sensing.while finding innovative ways to use natural resources to create sustainable technology solutions that can help address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
