Nasrin Shamaeian is a CONNECT PhD researcher at University College Cork, under the supervision of Prof. Dirk Pesch.

Nasrin received her M.Sc. in Information Technology Engineering from the University of Tehran specializing in Computer Networks, in 2018. Following her graduation, she gained industrial experience as a software engineer from 2018 to 2021. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. on trust management in vehicular networks and V2X communication. Her research interests include trust management, Social trust, Internet of Things (IoT), Internet of Vehicles (IoV), Probabilistic models and Machine Learning.
