Nima Afraz is an Associate Investigator at CONNECT in University College Dublin.

He holds a Master of Science degree in computer systems architecture from QIAU university, Iran. His research interests lie in the area of network virtualisation with a focus on converged and shared access networks.

He is also a member of the CONNECT group for Wireless-Optical convergence.
