Nirmal Wickramasinghe is a CONNECT PhD researcher at Maynooth University under the supervision of Indrakshi Dey. 

He received a BSc. degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. From 2023 to the present he has been working as a Ph.D. student/researcher at Maynooth university and a member of the CONNECT group for WG2 Sustainable IoT.

His Ph.D. Position in the area of Game theory-based protocols for resource sharing among massive
number of IoT devices.
