Somayeh Mohammady is a lecturer at TU Dublin, and was previously a Research Fellow at CONNECT in Maynooth University.

She received her BSc in Electronic Engineering from Azad University of Naein in 2005, and her MSc and PhD degrees from University Putra Malaysia (UPM) in Electronic Engineering in 2008 and 2012, respectively.

From 2017 to 2019, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Electronic Engineering at Maynooth University.

Her research areas are Digital Signal Processing and Efficiency optimization algorithms for 5G technology.

In 2019 she edited ‘Multiplexing‘, a book published by IntechOpen.
