Fyuz is a global event where technology, policy, and innovation converged to shape the future of telecommunications. Known for its focus on OpenRAN, 5G/6G networks, and advancements in network infrastructure, it provided an important platform for industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to share insights and drive progress.
This year’s theme, “Accelerate”, reflected the mission to advance innovation and spotlight the latest technological breakthroughs. For the first time, FYUZ 2024 was held in Dublin, a city celebrated for its vibrant tech community and creative energy.

CONNECT partnered with Benetel, an Irish company specialising in OpenRAN solutions, to showcase practical applications of emerging telecom technologies. The joint exhibition booth provided a hands-on experience for attendees, featuring:

This session examined the challenges and solutions related to energy efficiency in next-generation networks. As demands for ultra-low latency and high data rates increased, experts discussed optimising hardware, software, and cloud orchestration to achieve greater energy savings.
Are We Ready for the AI Tsunami?

With the surge of generative AI applications, the need for higher-capacity, lower-latency networks has grown. This panel explored building robust network tools to support AI-driven advancements, particularly in the context of 6G development.
