Francesco Pilla wins IBM Faculty Award

Dr Franceso Pilla, CONNECT Funded Investigator in University College Dublin, has received an IBM Faculty Award for his research on ‘Using an Urban Reasoning Framework for Air Pollution Control and Air Quality Monitoring.’

The Faculty Awards are cash-only awards to:

  • Foster collaboration between researchers at leading universities worldwide and those in IBM research, development and services organizations;
  • Promote courseware and curriculum innovation to stimulate growth in disciplines and geographies that are strategic to IBM.
