Marinara’s AI research features in TG4 documentary

Marinara Marcato, CONNECT PhD researcher at Tyndall National Institute, features on a new TG4 documentary Saol an Mhadra Bháin (The Secret World of Working Dogs).

Marinara’s current work focuses on a research project that aims to assist the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind (IGDB) in further developing their dog training programme through the deployment of sensors and data analytics.

The documentary series explores ‘Saol an Mhadra Bháin’ and tells the stories of men, women and children whose lives are dramatically changed and improved by their newly established partnerships with their Working Dog.
