Nexalus: CONNECT TCD Spin-Out Featured in The Business Post

Nexalus, a spin-out from Trinity College Dublin’s CONNECT Centre, is turning heads with plans to raise €10 million in pre-seed funding in 2025 after a strong start to the year.

The business was founded in 2018 by Kenneth O’Mahony, Dr. Cathal Wilson, and Professor Anthony (Tony) Robinson, a CONNECT Funded Investigator and researcher at TCD’s School of Engineering. With €6 million already raised and a team of 10, Nexalus is contributing to economic growth and sustainability in Leinster and Munster. Based in Cork City, the company has developed an innovative liquid cooling system designed to improve energy efficiency and cut carbon emissions in data centres.
