SEAI Transport Award Shortlist

Bleeper, a micromobility service provider that specialises in shared public bikes, has been shortlisted for the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) Energy Awards in the Transport category.

The project’s success has been the collaboration of local authorities, private businesses and researchers from Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Dublin City Council, Fingal County Council, SMART Dun Laoghaire and Enable Research.

eCargobikes reduce traffic congestion, carbon emissions and air pollution whilst also providing businesses with a sustainable alternative to using cars and vans.

This project is under the supervision of Dr Brian Caulfield, Centre for Transport Research, Department of Civil Engineering, Trinity College Dublin. Conor Dowling and Robert Egan are commended for their work on this project achievement.
