SECURENET 2025 Summit to Tackle Security and Privacy Challenges in Next-Gen Mobile Networks | 27 May 2025

The 3rd SECURENET Summit on Security and Privacy in Future Mobile Networks (2025) will bring together leading voices from academia, industry, and government to address the urgent security and privacy challenges facing the next generation of mobile technologies, including 5G, 6G, and IoT.

As mobile networks become increasingly vital across sectors such as healthcare, transportation, energy, and smart cities, the need for secure and resilient systems is more critical than ever. SECURENET 2025 will provide a forum to explore these pressing issues and spotlight innovative solutions that enhance the protection of mobile infrastructure against emerging threats.

Jointly organised by the Network Softwarization and Security Labs (NETSLAB) at the UCD School of Computer Science and the CONNECT Centre, this academic summit aims to facilitate interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration. Attendees will include professors, researchers, graduate students, and industry experts, all engaged in advancing knowledge and practice in mobile network security.

Key themes at this year’s summit include:

AI-driven and explainable security mechanisms
Zero-touch network management
Threat detection and mitigation in future mobile architectures
Privacy-preserving systems in 5G/6G and IoT environments

Whether attending in person or online, participants will gain insights into the latest research, share practical experiences, and contribute to the conversation on building trustworthy, intelligent, and secure mobile ecosystems.
