Nadia is the CONNECT Project Manager at Trinity College Dublin, currently focusing on the ICON project and supporting additional CONNECT programmes and initiatives.
Nadia holds a PhD in Computational Mathematics and an MSc in Biophysics. Most recently, she worked as a Learning and Organisation Development Officer at Trinity, where she supported and coordinated HR initiatives for academic and research staff.
Previously, Nadia worked as a Research Project Manager in the Autism and Neurodevelopment Research Group at Trinity’s School of Medicine. She led the coordination of major national and international research collaborations, including genetics projects funded by the Health Research Board and European partners. Her work encompassed full project lifecycle management, including financial oversight, ethics compliance, and governance across interdisciplinary teams in Ireland, Europe, and the US.
She also worked as Project Manager at University College Dublin on the EU Horizon 2020 SmartNanoTox project, coordinating academic and industry partners, managing finances and reporting, organising research events and training, and facilitating communication between stakeholders and funders.
Earlier in her career, Nadia was a Research Fellow in the Machine Learning Group at Trinity College Dublin, contributing to computational biology research, student supervision, and academic publishing.
