Urooj Tariq is a CONNECT PhD Researcher at Trinity College Dublin under the supervision of Prof. Dan Kilper.

Urooj did BS in Electrical Engineering from Air University Islamabad, Pakistan in 2017. and she completed her MS in Telecommunication and Computer Network’s from National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Islamabad, Pakistan. She worked as Hardware design engineer for 3.5 years at Research lab In Air university from 2018 to 2021 and later she worked for 1 year in National Scientific Engineering as a senior hardware design engineer from 2021 to 2022.

Currently Urooj is pursuing her PhD on the topic ‘Energy analysis and modelling of O-RAN’ from the funding from ADVANCE CRT.
